My Little Boy!

So it's been a while since I updated this blog. That is because since August a lot has been going on in my life. First, my dh and I were busy with a fundraiser we planned to raise money for our upcoming adoption. Then we found out that we had been chosen by a birthmom. YEAH!!! Our ds was to be due in early October so we had to get our home and his nursery prepared. Finally we got the called and traveled to meet our ds and his bm and bf. This was an amazing time for us. But here are some recent pictures of the little guy.

Regner Park with Baby Elisa

I spent part of my morning with my friends niece Elisa. She is such a sweety pie, but I caught them at Elisa's nap time so she was not a happy camper. But it's always precious to capture children in their true state, because when you look back you want to remember how they were, not just a "glorified" photograph of how they were.

Spending the Evening at Kiwani's Park

I am fortunate in my life in many respects, I have a fabulous husband and wonderful family and friends. One of my friends since preschool even lives just a few houses down the road from me and I get to spend quite a bit of time with her and her son. Monday evening the three of us went to the park to play... my friend and I with our cameras and her son on the playground equipment. We all had a great time as you can see.

Jessica's Baby Shower

Sunday I was invited to go to a baby shower for a family friend that I haven't seen in years. It was great getting to see every one there and there shower turned out lovely.

Grandma's 90th Birthday

Saturday was Grandma's 90th Birthday. What a great day to celebrate with family. We had wonderful weather and a great turnout of family young and young at heart! Here are some photos of some of the newest members of the family.
